OSL Books - Authors

Author Guidelines

The following details the deal authors who write for OSL can receive.

Oxford School of Learning celebrates its 17th year in business this year. That’s 17 years of providing top quality tuition in Business Studies and Economics with no other school or educational establishment coming anywhere near our success rate for achieving highest possible grades in the minimum amount of time.

We have been able to achieve such outstanding success because rather than rely on textbooks that a cynic would say, only pads out a syllabus to delay study – rather like the QWERTY keyboard was to slow down typing – we use our own! That’s why people pass the whole A level from scratch in just a few hours.

Oxford School of Learning is now looking to expand the publishing side and sell photocopiable textbooks in other subjects. To do this we need you – the author.

To fit in with our existing publications your work must be:

  1. Practicable
  2. Easy to read and understand…and apply
  3. Completely original
  4. As up to date a possible

We pay more royalties than any other publisher - we pay 50% of sale price.

Procedure:

  1. Email us with your idea
  2. Send a brief proposal outlining the likely page length and words and target market
  3. If we agree then send the complete book in MS Word
  4. You must send a statement stating the book is completely original
  5. Enclose a brief biography about yourself
  6. We then market the book and send you six-monthly reports as to sales
  7. The copyright will always be yours

Couldn’t be simpler!
