Oxford Conferences
Welcome...
Oxford Conferences was originally set up in 1998 as an offshoot of Oxford School of Learning. Unlike the School, Oxford Conferences is essentially non-profit-making.
The purpose is twofold:
- To deliver tailor-made conferences over 1-2 days
- To raise awareness of and money for the Dystonia Society, a registered charity.
Tailor made conferences for next to nothing!
Oxford Conferences hosts a number of conferences every year available for all to attend, or can deliver tailor-made conferences for your school or college. The cost? A £50 charitable donation and our mileage charges.
Our Credentials
The main Conference Speaker is Chris Sivewright. His track record is impressive. Chris has run over 50 conferences, authored 30 books and 200 cassette tapes and is an A level Examiner for Business Studies (UCLES) and Economics (Edexcel). His work is currently featured by the Guardian where he designed the Business Studies lesson pack and at SamLearning.
Oxford Conferences has also run conferences at The Institute of Education, in London.
Newspaper articles about the success of students taught by Chris Sivewright.
One newspaper article covers a pupil who had just four hours of lessons and managed to attain a grade C at the A level - just think what a one day conference can do for you!
To the best of our knowledge no other organisation offers conferences to your design and to your convenience.
