Privacy Policy
Your privacy is vital to our long-term relationship with you, and protecting your privacy is just one part of our mission to provide you with highly personalized and valuable service. In addition, in an effort to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we will not knowingly collect personally identifying information from children under the age of 13.

Required Personally Identifiable Information
To register for tuition, you must submit your name and e-mail address. The same requirement is made for our Forums. Clearly when ordering books and other materials from us you will have to submit name, address and contact number. This required personally identifiable information is necessary for us to process transactions for you and to contact you. No payments are ever accepted online so there is no risk of credit card fraud. When you register with the tuition class or the Forums, we will ask you for a "user name." The user name you select may appear on the web site in connection with future services we provide, such as discussion forums in which you may voluntarily participate.
We will ever share the information collected with anyone.
Transaction Information
When you authorize a purchase transaction, we will collect certain information related to that transaction such as the product or service involved, the quantity or amount of the product or service and certain personally identifiable information, such as your address and any special handling requests. When you participate in the Forums and/or the internet class you will gain access by submission of a password.
This personally identifiable information will never knowingly appear in public areas of our Web site.
Questionnaires and Surveys
From time to time, we may ask you to complete questionnaires or surveys, which we use to obtain additional demographic information about our users, to measure and improve the quality of our service and to better assess your interests and needs. If we ask you to complete a survey or questionnaire, we will explain how we intend to use the information that you provide to us. You always have the option of not responding to any questionnaire or survey.
General Information
We collect general information about you when you visit our web site. This information includes technical information related to your computer and the manner in which you are accessing our site and includes such information as the internet protocol (IP) address of your computer, what operating system your computer is using, what browser software (e.g., Explorer, Netscape or other) your computer is using, and who your Internet service provider is, the Uniform Resource Locator ("URL") of the web site from which you just came and the URL to which you go next and certain operating metrics, such as the amount of time you use our Web site.
The general information that we gather about you may be aggregated with general information of all users to help us better understand how our site is used. In addition, we aggregate the general information and the personal information. We compile and analyse this aggregated information so that we can provide more meaningful information to the various divisions of OSL and more relevant content and advertisements to you.
The Sharing of Collected Information
There will be no sharing of collected information.
Third Party Sites
We may publish links to other sites from our web site. Please note that the Oxford School of Learning does not control the content, practices or policies of any other site, including what information those sites collect about you. Accordingly, we do not endorse or hold ourselves responsible for the privacy policies or information gathering practices of any site that you may link to from our site. However, content that OSL links to may change without our knowledge over time, and if you feel we are linking to unsuitable material, please let us know via email (info@osl-ltd.co.uk)
Spam and cookies
We will never spam/bulk email visitors to our site. There will be no spam in any of our moderated discussion groups or online classes. Bulk email sent by OSL will be limited to tuition materials that members have specifically signed up for. Members of the online classes can be removed from the mailing list at any time by emailing tutor@osl-ltd.co.uk and requesting their removal from the class. Equally in the various forums any spam that appears will be removed quickly.
Cookies are utilised by our forum software to enable browser sessions and to allow members to remain logged in to the forum as they browse the topics. These cookies are used for this purpose only and no other information is placed on users computers, nor received through the use of these cookies. Cookies can be blocked by changing the security settings on your browser, but visitors to the site will not be able to use the OSL forums effectively if this is done.
